Gerald Thomas Watson was born September 17, 1958 in Stettler, AB to Kenneth and Avis Watson, he passed away June 29, 2025 in Stettler, AB.

He was predeceased by both parents, father-in-law (Bill), sister-in-law (Sherry), niece (Nicole), and granddaughter (Gracie).

Gerry is survived by his loving wife Margaret (née Johns); sons Dwayne (Angela), Jason (Natalka), and Sheldon (Brook); grandkids Hailey, Denton, Charlee, Colt, and Huck; 5 brothers (David, Eric, Ryon, Murray, and Mike); Mother in-law Yvonne (John), and Sister in-law Judy (Roy); and numerous nieces and nephews. He deeply loved his family and friends, especially his wife, his boys, and grandkids. We will all miss him greatly.

Gerry was a jack of all trades. He spent most of his life driving truck through out Alberta and then tried across Canada and then the United States.  Later in life he decided he wanted to try his hand at welding which had him attend college in Red Deer. Successfully finishing his second year of welding but due to Covid did not get the opportunity to finish his third year. Gerry enjoyed multiple activities like fishing, farming, and spending time in his “Paradise” camping with his family and friends. But most of all he was a Husband, Father, Grandpa, Father-in-law, Friend, Mentor, Hockey Coach, Apprentice, Teacher, and Joker. We will cherish our memories of him.
