There are no words that can truly capture the depth of this loss. Watching the tribute and service, it was abundantly clear that Audrey was a remarkable soul—radiating joy, compassion, and infinite potential in every moment of her life. Her spirit touched countless hearts during her time with us, creating memories that will forever be treasured. Miranda and I cherish the memories of knowing Audrey when she was younger and remember when she was born. Her beautiful energy and bright spirit were evident even then, and it was a privilege to witness part of her journey. Brian, Tara, and family—please know that our hearts are with you during this unimaginable time. Our deepest condolences also extend to Eric & Judy Klassen and Larry & Patti Barteski as they navigate this profound loss of their beloved granddaughter. Q: How did you meet Audrey? A: In kindergarten, Audrey and I discovered our shared love for the dollhouse, and an instant connection was born. It felt like divine fate brought us together, two kindred spirits meant to be friends. Though life took us down different paths, my memories of our childhood bond remain cherished and unforgettable. We’re so sorry on the loss of your beautiful girl. Even though they only knew each other for a short time, Audrey brought a lot of joy into my daughters world. I’m so grateful I was able to tell her that before she left. Our hearts ache for you all. We miss her very much and will always cherish the time we got to spend with her.

Most of us are candles in this world, flickering away and adding light but seldom fully illuminating or warming the room. A precious few are real flames, spreading their light and warmth to everyone around. For reasons far beyond our comprehension, the flames often leave our world far too early. I never met Audrey in person, but I feel like I've really got to know her over the past week through the deep sadness and happy memories of my granddaughter Gianna - they were kindred spirits, and very close. While the pain of her loss will slowly diminish over time, the memories of that bright, warm light will last forever. I send my love and sympathy to all of Audrey's family.

I am so sorry to hear of Audrey's passing. I will treasure the many sweet memories of hanging out with her at Village Kids and church community group, doing crafts, eating snacks, and chatting about Elsa and mermaids. We loved that we were birthday twins! Our family is praying for you all as you remember Audrey and move into this next season together.

I'm so very sorry to hear about Audrey's passing. I was privileged to know Audrey and support her in her education as she and her family took an epic year long journey across North America. Audrey was a great student - smart and so very creative. I always enjoyed seeing her projects and having chats over Zoom from wherever they had camped along the way. My thoughts and sincerest prayers are with you all as you grieve and remember the beautiful person of Audrey!

I remember whenever Audrey would come over we would make glasses of lemonade and they were delicious and then one day we were driving her back to her house and we saw a lemonade stand so we stopped and got some and it gave us an idea to open up our own lemonade stand so the next time we hung out, we made our very own lemonade stand and made Very little money

I’ve known Audrey since the day I was born we went to elementary school together, and she was my best friend, and we would always hang out and we had a few sleepovers together. So when my mom sat me down yesterday and told me the bad news, I was very upset. I might not have shown it by crying, but I was upset on the inside because before Audrey moved away, she was my best friend. and I’ve been secretly, hoping that one day I might bump into her again. I pray for mom, Dad, and her three brothers. I hope that you all find peace in her passing.

Audrey was always a bright light to be around, the one time she was over at my house and we were trying to do karaoke to “super bass” which failed miserably, but I found the video the other day and now I will treasure it as a keepsake of her legacy and constant kindness
