2010 ~ 2025

Audrey Valentine Klassen of Stettler, Alberta, beloved daughter of Brian and Tara, passed away suddenly on June 29, 2025 at the age of 14 years.

Audrey was born on her due date of July 15, 2010 in Surrey, BC.  She would’ve been 15 on the 15^th.  Her “golden birthday” she always called it.  As a young child, she was fearless.  Often trying difficult or even scary things before her older brother.  She was brave, it astounded us all.  She loved her friends; she had a way of making you feel like the most important person when she was with you.  She loved art and spent countless hours creating beautiful and unique pieces, usually as a gift for someone else.  Her favourite place was in the water, the pool, the ocean, but especially Lillooet Lake with her cousins.  She wanted to be a teacher and a mom. She would’ve been so wonderful at both, she was the most generous with her love.  She was so beautiful, but she had a hard time seeing that in herself.

Audrey is survived by her parents Brian and Tara; brothers Henry, George and James; nana and papa Larry and Patti Barteski, grandma and grandpa Eric and Judy Klassen; aunties and uncles Tara (Michel) Lamothe, Michael (Dawn) Barteski and Jenny (Jordan) Thiessen, cousins Lucas,Jilly, Zac, Lucas, Jack and Olivia; as well as other relatives and many dear friends.

Audrey was predeceased by her great grandma, Valentine Klassen; cousins Cole and Emma Barteski and great auntie Jean Jones.
