Marlene, Corey, and Blaine. Lori and I are so sorry to hear of your sudden loss of your husband/father. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Russ for twelve years and played a lot of golf with him over that time too! He was such a gentleman. He was a man of great integrity. I so enjoyed his company. We are so sorry for your loss. It was so evident that he loved you all deeply and was so proud of his boys always. Rest in Peace Russell.

Dear Marlene, Corey (Liesa) and Blaine (Lauren) and grandchildren, I was really shocked to hear this sad news of Uncle Russ' passing. I have very fond memories of him at family dinners at Grandma Dennis' (Christmas Eve, Thanksgiving, Easter) and of course 'coffee time'. I know Dad (when he was ill) and now Arie and I appreciated him winterizing the cabin each year and keeping the mice away. Arie and I have a really good memory of him and you & Judy and Bruce (and us) when we all went for a sail around Pender Island. It was a beautiful day and he had a big smile on his face. He will be missed. Diana and Arie

I worked with Russ for nearly two decades, and appreciated his honesty and integrity in every interaction we shared. We had many laughs together but on any occasion that needed a solution, Russ was straightforward and honest about what could be done, and lived up to his word. Russ was a good man, and I will miss him. My condolences to his family.

My daughter and i Met Russ and Marlene when we visited Stettler from Northern Ireland for the McKay/ Quinn reunion and they graciously invited us into their home for the evening and gave us a beautiful meal. They made us feel so welcome we felt we had known them for ever
