Mitchell Perry Chatrin

March 16, 1967 to August 19, 2025

Mitch passed away in the Red Deer Hospice after a brief battle with cancer.

Mitch was born in Marville, France on a Canadian Air Forces base overseas. His family moved back to Canada in 1969 and Mitch grew up in Downsview, ON and Lancaster Park outside of Edmonton, AB.

Mitch loved music and one of his favourite jobs was booking entertainment for the Ritz Diner in Edmonton. The most famous band he had perform at the diner was Green Day and Mitch loved telling that story.

Mitch had a kind, caring and friendly personality and he enjoyed working for many years in the restaurant/hospitality industry in Edmonton.

Mitch will be dearly missed by his brother Martin Chatrin and sister-in-law George Chatrin, his sister Sharon Rahn, brother-in-law Eric Rahn, niece Rebecca Rahn and nephew Ethan Rahn.

Mitch is predeceased by his parents Philip and Frances Chatrin (Feder).

In honoring Mitch's wishes no formal funeral service will be held.

In lieu of cards or flowers, donations to the Red Deer Hospice Society (reddeerhospice.com) would be greatly appreciated.
