It is five years now since Bob and Vern came to our farm near Minnedosa, Manitoba to buy our 1086 International tractor. It had been my husband Dean's pride and joy, and the only piece of equipment we ever bought new. I had kept it for five years since Dean's passing, and dearly wanted it to go to a home where it would be cared for properly and used well on a family farm. And it was. It was so nice to meet Bob and Vern. I thought they were both such fine men. Honest, truthful, and just nice. Since then, Bob and I kept in touch every few months, and it was always so nice to hear from him. I sent him a text on October 6th but he didn't answer and I got worried. My daughter found his obituary online. Dreadful news. The world will be darker without him. Please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you, Jean, Vern, and all the family.
