It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Colleen Anne Ray at the age of 77. She passed peacefully in her sleep at the Stettler Hospital on December 19^th, 2025. She will be missed dearly by family and friends.

Colleen was born on December 25, 1947 in Innisfail, Alberta, to parents Fred and Anne Clifford, where she grew up on a farm east of Innisfail.

Collen met Raymond Ray and they started their life together, marrying on February 12, 1966. They welcomed 2 children, Shelley and Dwayne, born in Innisfail before moving to Stettler in 1977, where they bought a farm to call home. Colleen enjoyed her time on the farm with family. She also enjoyed her time running the café at the Stettler Auction Mart and working at G & H Catering. She then moved on and started her own business “Colleen’s Catering “. where she served the community for many years before retiring with her husband Raymond.

Colleen is survived by her loving husband Raymond Ray, daughter Shelley Reber (Trevor Kirtley); son Dwayne Ray (Karyn Ray), granddaughters Amberly Ray and Casey Butters; great grandchildren Moss Robinson, Noelle Robinson, and Sadie Butters; brothers Lorne Clifford, Ross Clifford, and Byron Clifford and niece Michelle Duckering and family.

Following Colleen’s wishes there will be no formal funeral service. Only a small family gathering.
