Obituary of Ken Graham
William Kenneth Graham “Ken”
December 31, 1951 – December 21, 2025
Affectionately known as "Caesar," Ken passed away peacefully on December 21, 2025, just days before his 74th birthday.
Ken was born in Humboldt, Saskatchewan on New Year's Eve 1951 to Rose and Bill Graham—sharing his birthday with his parents' wedding anniversary.
Ken's greatest pride was his family. Together with Wendy Graham, he raised two sons, Kent Graham (Leann) and Rob Graham (Fallon Clarke), and leaves behind four beloved grandchildren: Ella Rose, Renna Margaret, Gia Frances, and William Todd Graham. Ken is also survived by his sister Ann Zieglgansberger, brother Carl Graham, as well as several nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Ken was predeceased by his parents Rose and Bill Graham; brother Keith Graham; brother-in-law Joe Zieglgansberger; parents-in-law Jean and Chuck Newton.
After working in the forestry industry in British Columbia as a young man, Ken returned to Stettler to open Caesar's Trophy Palace before taking over Graham's Jewelry from his parents. A natural entrepreneur with an adventurous spirit and tireless work ethic, he tried his hand at numerous other ventures—from insurance and oilfield construction to hydrovac services. The one constant throughout all these ventures was his work as a landlord, connecting with tenants and managing properties, constantly working with his hands to repair and improve the properties under his care, or as he often put it, "cleaning up another mess."
An avid hockey player, Ken laced up for the Stettler Sabres, Kennedy Capitals, Knights of Columbus, and numerous other teams over the years. His many adventures at away tournaments will be fondly remembered by all those who were there to witness his antics. He loved spending time on the water, whether water skiing at Buffalo Lake or on the annual fishing trips to Trout Lake in Saskatchewan with the regulars and an ever-rotating crew. The originator of the legendary "Graham Shuffle" dance move, Ken was known for his generous humor, genuine kindness, and distinctive raspy voice. Those who knew him will remember how much they enjoyed his company—he had a way of making every gathering a little more fun.
After a lifetime of never sitting still, Caesar has finally found his peace.
