Carol Darlene Jackson

1947 – 2026

Carol Darlene Jackson was born on June 27, 1947, in Stettler, Alberta, and passed away peacefully on January 3, 2026 in Lacombe Alberta at the age of 78 years.

Carol had a deep love for her family, music and a good game of cards.  Her home was always welcoming, with a pot of coffee on and a place at the table for anyone who stopped by for a visit.  She was known as the family historian, with an uncanny memory for stories, events, and birthdays.  If you needed a date, a detail, or a family story, Carol was the one everyone turned to.

Above all, Carol was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother whose love and presence will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who knew her.

Carol is survived by her loving children Rhonda (Darcy) Dietzen of Innisfail, AB; son Trevor Jackson (Tammy)of Blackfalds, AB; grandchildren:  Kayla (Jared), Kestyn (Stacee), Jacob, Riley, Regan, Luther and Zaiden; great grandchildren Wyatt and Scottie; brother-in-law Mike (MaryJane) Jackson of Stettler, AB; sister-in-law Thea Jackson of Spruce Grove, AB; special friend Sharon McCrindle; as well as numerous nieces, nephews other relatives and many dear friends.

Carol was predeceased by husband Ken Jackson; parents Claude and Ina Oakes;  sister Kathleen Oakes; brother Douglas Oakes; in-laws Victor and Marguerite Jackson.
