Obituary of Kenneth William Bonnell
Kenneth William Bonnell
“Gull”
August 24, 1952 – February 9, 2026
Kenny was a solid man with a fearless heart, known for his charm, his kindness, and his unwavering loyalty to the people and the life he loved.
Kenny carried a playful spirit and a gift for laughter, often at his own expense. Whether it was misremembered jokes he proudly retold, ridiculous faces, or poking fun at himself, he brought levity wherever he went. He made people laugh easily, but no one laughed harder than his wife, Debbie.
Kenny was absolutely ruthless when it came to protecting his family or fulfilling the responsibilities he believed in. With no filter and no pretense, he moved through life entirely on his own terms.
A true daredevil, he lived without fear — “no sense, no feeling,” as Deb would often say.
A proud biker, Ken embraced the brotherhood, freedom, and spirit of the open road. His Harley was more than a passion - it was part of his identity. His love for the biker lifestyle extended to leatherwork, where his skill and creativity found another outlet. Throughout his life, he was often the one people relied on for strength and protection, a steady presence who stood firm when it mattered most. His role within the Odin’s Wrath Bike Club in Saint John, New Brunswick reflected his integrity, loyalty, and deep sense of honour.
Ken met the love of his life at the age of 13. They married in 1975 and remained devoted to one another until death did they part. He carried her with him, always, and it brings comfort to believe they are together again.
Ken suffered with heart failure for quite some time, but his grace and charm never faltered. He passed away on February 9, 2026, surrounded by love, with family by his side.
Ken is survived by children: Devon (Mike), Justin, (*Gayla), and Kendall (Aaron); grandchildren: Drayton, Derrion (Katie), Ethan, Blake, and Terrance; great-grandchildren Xander and Jaiden.
He was predeceased by his parents William and Elfreda Bonnell; beloved wife Debbie Bonnell; sister Donna Proudfoot; his grandson Tye Bonnell.
Memorial donations in Kenny’s honour may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice. Please check this obituary later for details of a springtime celebration.
He will be deeply missed by family, friends, and brothers far and wide.
