Jodi Anne Sargent

September 24, 1976 ~ July 24, 2026

Born in Stettler, the youngest child to Ella and Henry Ko, Jodi grew up in Stettler and attended Stettler High School. After high school Jodi had many jobs; however, those she enjoyed the most were when she trained as a hairdresser, and when she was cashier manager at No Frills. She had a beautiful voice she loved to share with others, and everyone loved to hear her sing.

She had an unmatched strength, determination and tenacity. A skill and characteristic that has served her well in the fourteen years since a stroke took so much of her independence.

The joy they brought and the love for her family was the only thing that made her stronger, more determined and exceedingly tenacious. She loved watching her children grow up and was a dedicated fan at every game they played, watching them develop and grow skills in sports, hobbies and life. As a wife, mother, auntie, grandmother, friend, and community member, Jodi will be deeply missed; and remembered as a resilient and kind-hearted woman who faced life’s challenges with strength and perseverance. Despite her battles with many health issues, she continued to put the needs of others before her own and remained devoted to those she loved.

Jodi is survived by her loving husband Calvin Sargent; children: Jesse (Makayla) LaRose and grandson Koven LaRose, Kohle Perrin and Kelly Sargent; brother Kevin (Cheryl) Fortier; sisters Jeanne (Brandon) McFadyen, Debra (Terry) Pelechosky; special sister-friend Rena (Kelly) Hicks; Aunt Cecelia Pohl; nieces and nephews: Kim Pelechosky, Ronnie Pelechosky, Stephanie Fortier, Jenna (Alex) Toy, Kasi Boucher and Caleb Beauregard; other family and too many dear friends to mention.
