Obituary of Diane Margaret Ray

It is with great sadness the family announce the loss of their beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother Diane Ray on February 21, 2017 at the age of 83 years. Diane will be fondly remembered for her kindness, compassion, generosity, deep faith and her love for her family. Though very busy with family and farming, Diane enjoyed tending her many flowers, sewing/quilting, participating in community clubs and events, and socializing with friends and neighbors. Diane leaves to mourn her loving husband Arnold of 64 years; children Michael (Sandra), (Joe), David (Bev), Sally (Ken), Roger, Kathy (James), Laurie (Kevin), Douglas (Kathy), and Kelly (Todd); many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brothers Fred (Donna), Bill (Diane), sisters-in-law Doris and Elizabeth; many nieces, nephews, other family members and many dear friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Wendy; granddaughter Diane; parents Margaret and J. Chester Reid; and brothers John and Jim (Betty). Prayer Services will be held on Friday, March 3, 2017 at 7:30 pm at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Castor Alberta. Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, March 4, 2017 at 12 noon at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, Castor Alberta. In lieu of other tributes, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
