Ted:
I know I did not know you very long. Only a few months while I lived in Stettler and worked at the McDonalds there but I will not forget you. You were a kind man who always had a smile on his face. You brightened my day more than once I just wanted to offer my condolences to your family. You were a good man. Rest in peace

I knew Ted from the beginning of my time working at the Walmart in Stettler, starting there in 2008. He always greeted everyone with a smile whether if you were an employee at the store, a friend or a complete stranger who just happened to move into town. He would always talk to anyone in the lunch room of our store at anytime whether someone had a good day, bad day or the worst day you could possibly have. He was always straight up and honest with anyone he had a conversation with and never lied about it to anybody. A rare man with a rarer character today of giving you simpler truth but always leaving with a smile at the end. You will be missed by everyone in the end who was lucky to meet you whether for a short time or a long time. None more so than your family and closest friends.

Ted , as I had known him as, was a very special man who greeted me when I walked into Walmart. For the last while I kept looking for him as I walked in then I heard he had passed away. So I looked up this site to tell the family that he had touched my life. He had a way about him that could make you smile and feel like you mattered to him. Thank-you "Ted" for being the touch of sunshine. I will miss that.

I just said the other day to a friend that I haven't got my hug for awhile. Such a presence when one walked through the Walmart door. Always a smile, a visit, a laugh and a hug. A special man with a gift to make a persons day just by walking through a door and seeing him. He will be greatly missed by all that were lucky enough to make his acquaintance. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family, co-workers and friends.
