Our heartfelt sympathies go out to the families. It is never easy to lose a mother. We loved having Lorna for our neighbour for many years and have felt blessed to have got to know her children and grandchildren. What a great testimate of her motherhood has been shown in her family and we have become friends with many. Lorna has left a huge whole in the McKay family but I know they have great memories and were amazing taking care
of their mom in the last few years. Your kindness to your mom was remarkable. Hugs and prayers. Bonnie and Wally !

Just the other night I was telling friends about Lorna and how as a child she would look after me when my dad and I visited the farm. There is a picture of us with Frankie on her dresser which we both treasured. She was a fabulous person and I am lucky to have had her in my life. I grieve with you, her family, in our loss.

We want to express our deepest sympathy and condolences to all family members and friends who are grieving at this time. It’s hard to know what to say at times like this, but please find comfort in what it says at John 5:28&29: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life.” Imagine the joy of welcoming our loved ones who will be resurrected back to life as promised in that bible verse. Till then, it's like they are “sleeping.” (Please read John 11:11-14) Soon, the earth will be a place where death, and the tears, pain, and sorrow will be a thing of the past. (Please read Revelation 21:4) May these sure promises bring you comfort.
