Obituary of Jeanette Anne Schaffner

Schaffner – Jeanette Anne passed away on Thursday, March 5, 2020 at the age of 81 years. Predeceased by her husband Jim; daughter Cheryl Almas, son in law Laird Almas and brother Jerome Keichinger; Jeanette is lovingly remembered by her children; Kelley (Anita) of Red Deer, Bill (Lynea) of Castor, Doug (Roxann) of Camrose and Cindy Schaffner (Luke Deis) of Calgary; grandchildren Jost Almas, Lance Almas, Natashia Frankham, Cassie (Brandyn) Leveque and their children Rylee and Jace, Jordan (Andy) Sengsavang and their sons Hannan and Everett, Tayler Schaffner (Colby Forbes) and their son Dominic, Matthew Schaffner, Ashley Schaffner and her children Sierra and Jackson, Brandon Schaffner (Felicity Mannix), Mikayla Schaffner (Jordan Polischuk), Kennedy Schaffner, Liam Schaffner (Madisen Gall); numerous siblings; other family and a host of friends. A Prayer Vigil will be held Thursday, March 12, 2020 at 7:00 PM in Our Lady of Grace Catholic Parish followed by Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, March 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Parish Castor, Alberta with Father Roger Niedzielski as Celebrant. Following the mass family and friends will gather in the Castor Community Hall for a time of fellowship and refreshments. Memorial Donations may be made to Paintearth Lodge or to the Alberta Cancer Foundation.
