Obituary of Travis Lee Blackmore

Travis was born at Bashaw, Alberta to parents Rene and Ray Blackmore.  Travis was raised on the family farm near Gadsby alongside brothers Robert and Scott.  He attended school at Gadsby, Botha and Stettler.  Always involved in sports, Travis shone in football. Travis had a strong work ethic, beginning with his first job at Kal Tire while still in high school.   

He spent many years pipelining with a bit of welding and farming thrown in.  He could always be counted on when help was needed, especially on the farm. 

Travis was a loyal friend and was well respected by many coworkers.  He worked hard and played hard and gave his heart wholly.  In 2007 his relationship came with a little boy and he gave his heart to him.

Travis will be forever missed by his loving family, son Jack Blackmore of Botha; parents Rene and Ray Blackmore of Botha; brothers Robert (Sheena) Blackmore of Kaslo, B.C. and Scott (Christa) Blackmore of Botha; grandmother Dorothy McLean of Stettler; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends.

Travis was predeceased by his grandparents, Jim and Marion Blackmore and Ed McLean.
