My brother Marcell, we will all miss you in this world and I do so hope you are resting comfortably with our mother, father, brother Daniel, and most of all with your sweetheart Michelle. I am truly sorry for all of the suffering you had to endure and overcome getting to the point of you now no longer being with us. I will say though as much as there was tough and trying times, there were also a lot of good times as well. Some of my fondest were when we were very young in our pre-teens and we’d sneak away into the bush around Marysville to build secret forts and cabins with whatever supplies we could find and with our friends also pitching in. Then there was the one Christmas that always comes to mind for me when Marcell just couldn’t wait until the rest of the family got up to open the gifts under the tree. Well Marcell opened all of his gifts alone and if memory serves me well he even tried to re-wrap a couple of them, when the rest of the family awoke Marcell was like a fish out of water watching the rest of us o through our presents, I highly doubt that he ever tried that again. Over the years we went through both good and bad times as a family, but I do like to think the good out weighed the bad both in life itself and also the memories left with us all here who both knew and loved Marcell. The fishing trips, barbeques, trips to the beach, or just going for a bike ride, all these times when we were growing up are what will allow all of us who knew Marcell to have good memories of our lives with him in it.

It was a very hard time when our mother passed 25 years ago in 1995. When Marcell and Michelle ) left mom's place we lost track of where he was living, had no contact until Michelle passed four years ago in 2016. I steady prayed to hear from my brother and it happened one of the happiest days of my life tobe able to talk with my brother again. Then six months later I came to Stettler and
celebrated his birthday with him one day early. What a beautiful reunion we had (celebration) and have stayed in contact since.
We have spoke often and I especially talked even more since his cancer diagnosis. I especially did not want my dear brother to die, but, I tried very hard to understand his wishes and went along with his wishes (only because I did not wish him to suffer any more than he already did. I believe he had a tough life. So, rest peacefully my baby brother with your predeceased family in the arms of God until we meet again. In my heart and loved forever. Love you forever Sister Marie!
