So sorry to hear of Bernie's passing - Sincerest condolences to Shirley and the Feisst family. Bernie was a good friend to my father in the Gulf Stettler days. They both appreciated good photography and Bernie inspired my Father to get an Apple 2e computer which he used for many years. We will aways carry good memories of Bernie and the Feisst family with us.

I am so very sorry to learn of Bernie‘s passing; my sympathies and condolences to the family. My siblings (Mark and Miriam) are far more eloquent than I, but Bernie was always jovial and a delight to be with. May you be comforted by your memories.

I was familiar with many aspects of Bernie through his family (Lisa) and mine (Mark) before I ever met him...and I only met him once. But I will never forget the kindness he showed me on that occasion, and how everything I saw Bernie be and do matched what I'd gleaned of him from listening to others speak of him. He was generous with his time, giving of his electrical expertise and home repair craftsmanship, a savvy bargainer and advocate on my behalf with a salesman, and positive to the core. I was amazed by his energy (especially for a retiree of many years), and exceedingly grateful for the improvements he made to my home which I could not have done myself--and all without benefit to himself. He was a bright light in my life for a day, but his generous gift to me has carried on for years.
I was deeply saddened to hear of his stroke and subsequent passing, and can only imagine how great a loss it must be for his family and friends who shared many of their days with him. My condolences to all his family and friends on their great loss. The world was a better place with Bernie in it, and I know his absence will be deeply felt. But all that he gave and contributed will carry on in those of us whose lives were touched by him.
With gratitude to Bernie, and sympathy for his family and friends,
Miriam Boody

Dear Feisst Family,
Our deepest sympathies to each of you on the passing of your husband, dad, and grandpa! Words can't begin to convey what your family has meant to Rob and me over the many years; but we treasure the memories - Indonesia, cruises, Hawaii, Arizona, Europe, and so many more places; teaching me all I know about electrical, gas, and plumbing things; diagnosing my sleep apnea so the doctor could treat it; polkas; BBQ's; Wizard; the best Emperor Italy ever had; The Lake; flying (both big and little aircraft); international granola bar transportation; and so much more.... We extend our condolences to the entire extended family also, many of whom we've had the pleasure to meet and know over the last 3 decades.
Bernie, you earned your wings here many years ago and they've served you well on earth. We've no doubt they'll serve you even better as you fly with the angels, teaching them too, just as you taught so many of us down here - some of us more angelic than others!
Fly in Peace, Bernie, with our love and gratitude,
Mark Boody and Rob Murphy

50+ years ago I worked with Bernie at Nevis. It was a busy time for all but Bernie always was happy, smiling and willing to share thoughts on how to make it better. Bernie was a pleasure to work with, all those years ago even after the many times he was called out in the middle of the night to what only he could do and always with a smile.
After leaving Nevis our careers had us cross paths a number of times but it wasn’t until we retired and realized that we both had a mutual interest in Radio Control Aviation so our paths crossed more frequently. Bernie was a gentleman, a friend and will be missed.
Linda and I send our condolences to Shirley and the family.
