Just found out my sweet friend Pat has left us. Now Pat will finally be able to see and meet her relatives in the spirit world. Because of the Atonement of Jesus Christ we will all be resurrected and will be able to renew our friendships. I shall always miss Pat's wonderful sense of humour and her great baking. I still miss her great Chocolate Cherry Loaf that she made at Christmas. Pat was a fabulous human being always had a good word for everyone. She was my favourite ministering companion and her disability opened many doors and hearts to us. We loved Pat and Russell. I guess there will be no birthday greetings from Pat this year! She never forgot. To her family we add our condolences you have lost a fabulous Christ like woman whom it was our privilege and blessing to know. Love and kindness to her family and friends. So sorry to hear that Pat has left us We only found out tonight...Leon and I (Leon and Laurie Bakker).kept in touch with Pat after she left Calgary.. 84thStreet.. Pat was a kind and caring friend, whom we met at church..She was wonderful at keeping in touch, and remembering everyone’s birthday and their phone numbers,... She was a loving mother and grandmother..Many of our conversations were about family and how much she loved them and was proud of them . I will really miss Pat, as will her many friends in Calgary. Ourselves , Knut and Edna Loewer, Elizabeth Craigie, and Ken and Gudrun Hirsche from southern Alberta and many others .A very special friend was Vicki Owen and her late brother David Owen . They both loved Pat very much and Vicki is mourning this loss. .
