Obituary of Joseph Abel
June 8, 1926 – September 13, 2021
Joseph Abel was born on June 8, 1926 in Compeer Alberta to parents Katherine (nee Keller) and Wendelin Abel. He was the 3rd youngest of 12 children.
Joseph is survived by children. Dwayne (Sue) Abel, Sharon (Dan) Koleyak, Jim (Marilyn) Abel, Kathy (Doug) Stewart, John (Denise) Abel, Marianne (Jeff) Sawatzky, Jerry (Cheryll) Abel, Laurie (Lloyd) Stamm, Terry (Roxanne) Abel; 23 grandchildren and more than 20 great grandchildren; elder brother Lambert; younger sister Regina; as well as numerous other relatives and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Anna Maria; parents Katherine and Wendelin Abel; sisters Johanna, Sibbald, Mary, Katie, Rose, and Monica; brothers John, Bill, and George and grandson Derek Abel.
