Nobody tells a story better or more funny than Auntie Helen. She would tell it like it is, plain and simple- which would usually have a humorous twist tossed in with her signature style. The only thing better than her sense of humour was always her huge heart! No matter how long between visits, she would make you feel like no time had passed by reminiscing about the time when....while all of us cousins were growing up together. We were very blessed (most of the time) to be surrounded by so much family in our younger days. I can only imagine how she has brought some excitement to Heaven like she always did while she was here with us. She will be missed terribly by so many but until I see her again, I will give those here a big ‘Auntie Helen hug’ when they need one- just like she would have. I know she’s giving Michelle the biggest hug ever from me. I love you Auntie

To our Castor and Brooks family, Our thoughts and prayers are with you today. So sorry we can’t be there physically, but our hearts are with you today. We are so thankful we were able to have our family reunions when we did. Now Helen will have her family reunion in heaven as they welcome her home. We remember her little giggle, crazy interesting stories, kindness and love for her family and friends. She will be missed by everyone. Helen had a lot of love to give. She lived her life to the fullest, always thought about others. I loved her with my whole heart. She was uniquely gifted snd able to share her warmness with others. She made sure I did a good job at cleaning her house. I have never met anyone that has had such a deep affect on my. My sympathy to her family as you grieve the great loss Connie Symons
