Obituary of Gerry Renz

It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Gerry Renz on October 16, 2021 at the age of 81 years.  He was born May 11, 1940 in Osoyoos, BC.  In the early years Gerry worked in the trucking industry.  After that, for many years, Gerry worked doing highway maintenance out of Creston, BC as an equipment operator and foreman. Gerry finished his working career at the town of Stettler.  Gerry enjoyed fishing, pool, working in his shop and doing renovations on his home.

Gerry leaves to mourn his loving stepchildren Barry Nielsen, Dwayne (Gisele) Nielsen and Jen (Allan) Williams; grandchildren John, Kristina, James, Amie (Justin), Erin (Ben), Bryan (Dawn) and Lane; great grandchildren Brody, Alexis, Ethan, Sara, Dallas, Katherine, Annabelle and Rayne; paternal grandson Kyle (Yuka) Renz their children Leo, Arthur and baby Braydon who will be joining his brothers soon. Gerry will also be missed by his very special friends Jeannette Kopp, Rich, Julie and Jeannette Fehr, Gord (Bonnie) Chishelm and Olwen Green.  Gerry was predeceased by his parents Rose and Leo Renz, wife Corinne and granddaughter Barbara Nielsen, as well as numerous other relatives and many dear friends.

A funeral service for Gerry will be held at Lake View Cemetery, Stettler, Alberta on Saturday, October 23, 2021 at 11:15 A.M.
