Just heard of Brian’s passing, would like to extend our deepest condolences to Heather, Mark & Joelle. Although Brian has passed our memories of him will never fade. Stories & jokes from work, golf & curling will always be remembered, especially his never ending berating of the Calgary Flames, from a staunch Oiler’s fan. Stay strong & lean on each other. Brian was quintessentially a people person. He was a ‘rascal’ from childhood and, in good terms, never seemed to outgrow that. He was happy-go- lucky, fun, great dancer, and thought the world of his family and friends. He had the unique ability to tell non-stop jokes and never repeat one. In the past 73 years, it is impossible to think of Brian without a smile of memory. Brian’s leaving creates a hole in the fabric of our family that only our happy memories can mend. Take care Heather, Marc, Joelle and families. Love, Val and Don

We were so saddened to hear about Brian. He was such a gentle giant. L Robert Enterprises was blessed to have him take on the role of General Manager during your days in Fort McMurray. And equally blessed that we shared the same wedding anniversary. Leo and I were just remembering the anniversary where you met us at The Fairmont in Edmonton. It was pouring rain, you dashed from the taxi with hardly a drop and then just as you arrived at the door of the hotel, the awning, filled with rain, broke as Brian walked under it. You arrived at our hotel room with a drenched husband. As I recall, we all had a good laugh.
We hope the the warmth of family and friends and good memories help you through this difficult time.
Much love to you all.
Leo and Debbie Robert

Our circle of family & friends who are like family have certainly lost a very dear part of our heart with the loss of the "big guy", but whenever we are all together he will still be with us because he is so much a part of the memories we made his presence will continue to surround us in our stories & laughter as we "remember when". Adios mi amigo. Descansa en paz. Don & Dorothy Reiter

We would like to send you's our sympathy for the lose of a wonderful person who I had remember form the days in Galahad and then getting to know him and Heather when Brian retired in Stettler. He was a very honest man and he would alway listen to the stories I remember of him as well listening to his stories of where ever he was. I well always remember him being a very big man with a great laugh and a very big heart. His wife and the children were alway the top of mind and in his heart. So again I am sorry for the lose of big man. I well miss him very much.
