Cheryl and family,
Paul was an amazing man. Always so welcoming, loving, and so funny. He lit up a room when he entered it. Paul was with me when I had shot my first buck, he was so excited for me, we had to celebrate with a chocolate bar. Haha. Sitting around Paul and Cheryl’s kitchen table just gabbing and laughing was always a treat. The love him and Cheryl shared is truly an inspiration. To see those two together, melted my heart. To know that two people can love each other for so long is amazing. My girls and I will truly miss Paul. He has a special place in my heart. Paul was a fighter till the very end, then God welcomed another precious Angel to Heaven. Paul will be walking alongside all the people he loved. My condolences to Cheryl, Matt and Luke and family. May the memories of Paul keep your love strong forever. My thoughts and prayers are with you all today as you celebrate Paul. We love you Cheryl and will be thinking of you today.
Love Ashley, Hayley and Gracie

Oh Cheryl and family my heart is breaking for you all. I truly enjoyed every single time Paul and I crossed paths. He made me a couple Yanni cds that I still listen to, to this day. Always smiling just enjoying what ever life brought his way. Seems so unfair to lose such a great man so young.
Hold onto each other tight and treasure all your memories.
Sending you a big virtual hug my friend, and keeping you all in my prayers.
With Heart Felt Sympathy to you and yours

Paul was the most genuine person we know. He made you laugh constantly when you were in his company. Every phone call we had with him he always said to Doug “ I got the golf clubs out and dusted them off” and we would laugh right out loud. Paul was quite the character. We have so many great memories with you Paul and your loving family. I know this looks like a pretty funny photo but Paul would love this photo. These four good looking family members were heading to Pop’s funeral. They look like “The Mafia”. We will drink a scotch in your honor. Say Hi to Somie and Pop for us.

My dear Cheryl, Matt , Luke and family,
I first met Paul when he followed my sister home fifty plus years ago. He was by my side when when I lost my best friend Tipper when I was ten. Shortly after that he became my best friend. Paul fixed my dirt bike when I flipped it end over end. He did the body work and paint job on my first car when I rolled it. He got me my first job working with him and his brother Freddy. He was our best man when I married the love of my life Sue. He taught me so much but most importantly he taught me how to be a good man, a best friend and a great husband, father and grandfather. I have so many great memories to get me through these tough times. I will miss you old Buddy.
Love your brother, Bobby

Dear Cheryl, Matt, Luke, and families,
I will always remember my first job with Paul, after school-- way back in the summer of '86 or '87; times driving grain truck for Paul. There is almost nearly a lifetime of countless memories of great times our families spent together, and Paul is in the centre of every single one of them, larger than life sharing in his wonderful laughter and his always so generous spirit. He was very integral in bringing my wife and I together twelve years ago, and we will ever love and remember him with great fondness. Much peace, comfort and Love Cheryl and family-- he will ever and always hold a special place in our family's memories and hearts.

I am so grateful for the year I spent in Alberta where I got to know my Elines clan again. I was only 12ish when they moved west but they never seemed that far away.... Loved his warmth and laughter and am so lucky to have had him as my Uncle Paul. We both loved horses and he bought one of the babies I raised and took her west. We visited her when I was there. Our beautiful Jewel.
My heart hurts for everyone left behind.... We were so so fortunate to have had him in our lives.
BIG Hugs to our Alberta clan,
Gina

My Uncle Paul will forever be remembered in our hearts as a damn good man. He & my Aunty Cheryl have always been there for our family. Always on the first plane home (Ontario) any time the family needed them. One of my favourite memories is of Uncle Paul & Aunty Cheryl surprising us & flying home for my wedding & another fond memory is when he & Aunty Cheryl first came to meet the twins. He was always sure to pull me aside & give me some helpful advice, which always ended in that one of a kind giggle! You’re gone too soon Uncle Paul, but you’ll forever be in our hearts. We love you! We're so sad to hear the passing of a wonderful, kind hearted, honest, man that we are so happy to have known. He was always so happy and cheerful to everyone. He always reminded me when he saw me about the first time he saw my face mask. ( Woman's underwear) He laughed so hard and thought that was perfect. I loved seeing him and Cheryl together. After 49 years together they still look so much in love. Such a blessing. Cheryl and all the family our prayers are with you. Love you lots ❤️

This is a picture of my Aunt Cheryl, Uncle Paul, Matt and Luke ( and our cat Mouse) in July 1982 at our farm in Elmvale.
Their t shirts say ' Alberta or bust' ...LOL . Always loved their visits.
I was lucky enough to go stay with them for a bit when I was around 19yrs old and visit them again a couple times with my husband Kenny years later.
It was always fun with lots of laughs.
Uncle Paul, you will be greatly missed.
Thinking of you all now.
Lots of Love,
Lisa and kenny xoxo
