I have such amazing memories of Peggy from when I was young and was involved in 4-H. Peggy was patient, kind and always had that warm smile that had a way of melting one heart. I'm so sorry to hear she has passed and wish I would have known sooner to send my condolences in a more timely fashion.
My heart goes out to each and every one of Peggy's family and friends as they suffer her loss, and miss her presence.

Our dear Aunt Peg was/is and always will be a part of our hearts forever. We hold her close and cherish our times together. She was a caring, gentle, strong, no nonsense woman who instilled in all of us a confidence to be who we are and seek out the great adventures of life. Thank you for the lovely tribute, so sorry we could not be there. Auntie Peg is such a vital part of all our lives, and now is at home in the arms of her loving spirit family in heaven. Arms around you all, love Randi, Peter, Harrison and Robin

Pat and family ... My wife Linda and I just received the notice of Peggy's passing, our warmest thoughts are with you all. Peggy stayed with my family while she attended the University of Alberta and she and my mother, Joan Greene, became life-long friends. My best memory of Peggy speaks to the depth of her character: while having a quasi-formal dinner (pretty much an every evening affair in our house), Peggy noticed I was dumping my unwanted vegetables under the table and I dreaded suffering the consequences. But even though she and Mom were friends, she never squealed on me, she just gave me a stern-yet-understanding look that said: "Don't be doing that again" and of course I never did. I also spent part of the summer of my 16th birthday on your wonderful farm, a totally-different life experience for a city boy and I like to think I became a bit of a better person for it. My thanks to the Clarks for their friendship to the Greenes.

Love and condolences to Peggy’s family.
Peggy was always so warm and welcoming. She had a beautiful smile which beamed from her heart, and a loving laugh that filled the room with joy. She had a sharp mind and a kind heart, a gentle sense of humour, AND she made the best pies. Last weekend, Dave & I were in Victoria. I talked with my mom, Kay, about the Clarks, the farm, and the lake. She remembered Peg & Oz, and all the kids very fondly. She was so sorry to hear that Peggy had passed. It’s an honour to have known Peggy, such a beautiful and caring soul.

Sympathy to the Clark family, Peggy, was an awesome friend and was always busy. When I think of her WI comes to mind, She did the meetings for many, many years and made them so interesting. 4H was high on her list. She Judged 4 H speak off for as long as I can remember. Music Festivals was another project she was involved in but she always had time to stop and visit in the grocery store, Post office or across the fence line. Rest in peace Peggy.

To Peggy's family.....it has been a long time since I babysat most of Peggy and Osborne's kids but that does not diminish the fond memories of you, auntie Edie, uncle Clifford and the good times at Green Gables. Peggy and my mom (Vi Clark) corresponded occasionally and it was always a pleasure to hear from Peggy with news of her family. She was a lovely, caring person and you are fortunate indeed to have had her as the matriarch of your family. Sharon Clark
