Catherine Mary Kneeland (Shea)

May 18, 1922 ~ July 8, 2022

Catherine Kneeland was born in Camrose, Alberta on May 18, 1922 to parents Thomas and Celina Shea.  She passed away at Bashaw Meadows Care Centre in Bashaw, Alberta on July 8, 2022 at the age of 100 years.

Catherine is survived by her three sons: Ray (Linda), Charles (LeeAnne), Gene (Lynn); daughter Susan (Terry) Dahl; granddaughter and chosen daughter Carman (Steve) Baker and their families including eleven grandchildren; twenty eight great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.  Catherine was predeceased by her parents, ten siblings, husband Ervin Kneeland, daughters Shirley Peterson and Rita Kneeland, granddaughter Amanda Kneeland, grandson TJ Dahl, daughter in law Pat Kneeland (Rock), and son in law Donald Peterson.

Catherine was a kind and loving person and will be greatly missed by her family, extended family and her many friends and neighbours.

A funeral service for the late Catherine Kneeland will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Bethany Lutheran Church, six miles north of Donalda, Alberta.  Lunch and fellowship will follow at the Donalda Community Hall in Donalda, Alberta.  A special thanks to all who have chosen to join us in celebrating Catherine’s long and well lived life.  May God bless you each and every one.
