I attended Debbie's memorial service, it was a wonderful tribute to a wonderful woman. The huge turnout showed how many lives Debbie touched during her short time with us. I enjoyed working with Debbie at the Stettler Independent and even after I was no longer full-time I often popped back into the Independent office to visit and catch up with Debbie and Karen. I didn't really know Debbie's family but it seemed like I did because Debbie talked of you all often and so proudly. Debbie was always so pleasant, personable and cheerful, it was a pleasure knowing her. My sincere sympathy to all the family. Hold her memories close to your heart and she will never be far away.

Debbie was such a kind person. We worked together at the Independent many years ago. Kind, funny, soft-spoken…always with a smile. When I heard the news my heart broke for her family and friends. My deepest condolences. I’ll never forget her smile.

Well my heart is forever broken, my dearest Debbie was my friend for 52 years, I will forever miss her voice! And her sweet smile, we were there for each other through school, weddings, and our beautiful children. Debbie was the kindest, sweetest, loveable, forgiving person I will ever know. My love is with Rick, Brayden, and her beautiful girls. There is not a big enough page to go through my life with my sister from another mother!! I will love her forever and always!! Heaven has been blessing!!! A piece of my heart belongs to my sweet girl!!

I worked with Debbie at the paper for years. She was always positive, helpful and friendly. I don’t ever recall her losing her patience with anyone….me, customers or other coworkers. She was very proud of all her kids and really loved her cats. RIP Debbie. Thanks for your friendship
