Dear Norma, Rick, Mike and Family,
Our condolences go out to all the family with the passing of Jim. He was such kind and gentle man. We have so many fond and fun memories of him. One highlight was a Christmas trip with family and friends to Fairmont Hot Springs. One evening snacks were being served and the antipasto came out….Jim called it buzzard puke….well we have never looked at antipasto the same again!! We call it that to this day, and always think of Jim!! We are all so blessed to have known such a wonderful man. Our Love and Sympathy,
Reed and Sheree Howell & Family

Dear Norma and family, We send to each of you our most heartfelt sympathy in the passing of Jim. Jim was such a super guy, it was always a pleasure to be in his company. Our reminiscing of times together with The Leslies brings lots of laughter. Jim and Ron's partridge hunting episode that sent them scrambling is happily planted in Ron's memory.
May this poem, author unknown, help to bring your family comfort and peace.
The tide goes down but leaves behind
Bright sea shells on the sand
The sun goes down but gentle warmth still lingers on the land.
The music stops yet echos on in sweet refrains
For every Joy that passes, Something beautiful remains.
Rest In Peace, Jim. Our sincere condolences, Ron, Colleen and Tracy

Oh Norma ! we are so sorry that you have lost Jim! We know he has been unwell for several years ,and you were a great caregiver
to him, but that does not lessen the pain of loss. We remember all the good times and all the baseball trips together. Those were great times and we always remember them. Please take care of yourself !

Jim was a wonderful person, and I am blessed to have known him. I see his handywork everywhere in my backyard, and it always reminds me of his generous spirit. He was so easy to be around with his big smile and great sense of humor, and I appreciated that, and really enjoyed spending time with him. Norma, my sincerest condolences to you, I wish I could wrap you in a big hug. I hope your memories give you the strength you need in these difficult times.

Jim was a true gentleman with a great sense of humour - even though that terrible disease robbed him of much. Norma, you were the most amazing and loyal caregiver. It was an honour and a privilege to look after him at Points West
