I am so sorry that I didn't hear of Myrts passing in Jan.We were neighbors on the farm at Hackett for many years.She was a special person who lived life on her own terms. I will never forget seeing her mowing hay on a hot summer day with no shirt on,just her Bra. Totally frowned apon back then! I was so glad I seen her awhile before she passed at the hospital lab and we had a chat and a hug.Such a special lady and I will remember her fondly

Auntie Myrt: by now you are with the 'loves of your life' and our family that has gone before us. We will miss you the rest of our lives but are grateful that you are with loved ones now and thankful for the time that we got to spend with you here on earth. I will always be grateful for the love that you and your family showered on Cory when he was a little boy and stayed with you one summer vacation. Even though he was too young to remember, he felt the love and felt a closeness to you for the rest of his life. I will miss the phone calls and visits with Grandma Mryt so much. Loved stopping in and catching up on things especially outside by the garage in the summer. When Aarron met Jessie a love story started…… we then had the absolute pleasure of travelling from England to Canada to meet the wider family. Myrtle was a most hospitable host who loved to to speak with us about her love for the UK & the royal family. We got to sample the delights of her baking, the tour of her garden and got to hear of stories she shared about her wider much loved family.
