Ah, Dear Eric! ‘Twas a joy to know him, and being in a few plays together, always fun to share his wit and perennial grin. Eric was a gentle soul with a very caring disposition. Totally unfair to have endured his struggles these past few years.
Eric will take his rightful place above, watching over us. I am sad to be out of town the day of his funeral, but my most sincere thoughts will be with all the family. Farewell Eric the Unique!

HI Fran and Family,
Patti and I are so sorry to hear of Eric's passing.
I remember how he helped me as a young farmer in setting up forward delivery grain contracts. He was very wise with his advice and support in any business dealings I had with him as well as a very excellent friend.
I will truly miss his warm personality and sense of humour.
Sincerely,
Mitch and Patti Koehler.

I met Eric in the summer of 2022 as a fellow retired gardener in west Stetter where he shared a plot with my neighbour. We had just located here and I was interested in meeting people in town. We talked a bit about the elevator business in the west and his part with Parrish & Heimbecker at our elevator here.
My condolences to his family in your loss of a very capable man.

We have fond memories playing Wizard and Cribbage with Eric and Fran when visiting with Sean and Laurie in Rochon Sands. Eric was a real card shark with a compete level second to none, but it was always Fran who managed to sneak in the win. When he wasn’t questioning a misplay during a card game, he was bantering about his beloved Oilers and Blue Jays. Eric was always kind and welcoming with our family as we got to know him over these last number of years. He will be missed by many.

Deepest sympathy Fran and family. Eric was a great person who was full of laughter. I remember him running the P&H when I was a teenager, he always told me a story while we unloaded grain. I so enjoyed his company and looked forward to every trip.

Glorene and I feel a personal loss with the passing of Eric. We have had connections to the Snowden family over many years in many ways. Patrick and Shamus were good personal friends of our son Calder. They both made the trip to Vancouver for our son’s wedding. We were proud to have them there. Our son Carson for a time worked with Stacey and Stacey’s wife Toni worked with me as a very able legal assistant. Sean we knew the least as he mostly lived away. Fran we knew well from community involvement.
Our favourite memory of Eric was when he had the part of an Albanian plumber in a HATS play we did at the performance arts centre. His only job was to bring a piece of copper piping onto the set. He decided he needed a longer piece and came back on stage with more pipe. It went over so well he kept leaving and coming back until finally he had a piece of pipe that was so long that it more than covered the entire stage and stuck out the other side entrance. Eric stole the show with his improvisation that wasn’t scripted.
We will miss you Eric.

Fran and family so sorry for your huge loss. Eric was bigger than life in so many ways. My most fun memory was that play he was in, where he stole the show with his antics. Sorry I don't remember the name of it as it was a few years ago. He always had a big smile and time to say hello. He shall be missed from our community.
