I'm sorry for your loss, Mike, Barry, Terry & Family. Uncle Ray was the absolute best. Always supporting the neighborhood kids with encouragement, kindness & laughter. While my Mom was away I needed more practice driving before taking my driver's exam. No questions asked, Uncle Ray hopped into the passenger seat of my Mom's Grand Marquis and away we went. With his patience, kindness & encouragement, I was successful in my quest to get my driver's before my Mom got back from her trip. Ray & Norma were my 2nd set of parents. You will be missed. RIP Ray & Norma.

Condolences to the Family, but now at peace with Norma. First memory of Ray and Norma was when my Mom and I moved into a small apartment upstairs in their home many years ago. It was just east of the Royal Hotel. I believe it was 1961 or 1962. Great people.

My first memory of Uncle Ray is when as a very young girl, he gave me my first bicycle! Over the years he played an important role in all his family’s lives. He was a kind, generous man whose infectious laugh I remember with affection. With his passing, he has become the last Uncle I had and my sincere condolences are extended to all his family and friends ❤️❤️

My deepest and sincerest condolences to all Rays family. From a very young child living down the block Ray always made me feel special by giving me one of his most precious gifts, a few minutes of his time. Sometimes it was more than just a few minutes depending on the location or what we were doing, but he always had time. What a beauty of a human he was ! Sorry to learn of this news

A beautiful picture of Uncle Ray. So many wonderful memories all with his laughter and mischievous smile. My first memory is of course at Boss Hill on Buffalo lake. Us on one of his huge tractor tires and him keeping us all safe. Then of course lake lot 13 with our kids and many cousins. Ruffer and all his wonderful attributes and can’t forget the outdoor kitchen with Mike or Barry cooking up wonderful meals. Terry chasing Callie around the swings. We also had the joy of both Norma and Ray and some cousins up at Slavelake for several summers of fishing. Norma fishing with no hook on line!
Fun and laughter always with love all along the way. Loved him dearly, will miss him forever. Darlene, Edwin, Cathy and Melissa, Sarah and Brooke.

I have many fond memories of Uncle Ray throughout my life. Uncle Ray & Aunt Norma & Michael came to our farm in Manitoba one year for a visit. Then again for our daughters weddings. They always made events so much fun. Uncle Ray will be deeply missed!
