Teresa and family, we were saddened to learn of the passing of Lorn. He was a courageous man who bore his health difficulties without complaint. He always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. I'll never forget Uncle Lorne and his wonderful stories shared on his visits to Scotland throughout my whole life ..... And of course the fun we shared and laughter when we visited the farm in Alberta ❤️ rest in peace, our love for you will never be forgotten. To nana horse & ‘the boys’ I remember Lorne, papa fish, as such a friendly guy, kind & friendly with everyone. I especially liked his quiet but ever so thought provoking words, usually with a very humorous slant. My prayers for Nana Horse, for comfort as she adjusts to the most difficult transition in her life. Together they have raised 4 of the nicest men I’ve met, my prayers are with you all as well. My family and I are so saddened to hear this news…….we spent so many happy, fun filled days having such wonderful times with Mr. And Mrs. Fish over these many, many years. So many belly laughs, so many meaningful family times being silly and just enjoying life whether it was playing pond hockey, having bonfires in all seasons, teddy bear picnics or doing whatever took our fancy at the moment. Lorn was always there to look on proudly at his Teresa and his sons and all of their families as the years went by. Thanks for the wonderful memories and great times. Mary Ellen Docherty, Michelle, Sandy, Blaine and Kerri and our mutual good friend Carol Dillman…….it was always a blast! Much love and kind thoughts to all of you!

My favourite Big Fish memory happened when I very young. Mrs. Fish used to gather me up from Stettler to bake, and play with her China dolls and a sleep over. I was bathing one night, singing my head off, when I suddenly heard Lorn strumming his guitar just outside the door. I was so embarrassed I bet I stayed in that tub for an hour. :-). But, there are so many more memories I cherish.Love to you all. Kerri
