Ronald Gay Hutchison passed away on December 22, 2024, after a brief battle with cancer. He was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather whose presence brought joy to everyone who knew him.

Gay is survived by his loving wife, Cathy Hutchison; children Gayann Hutchison Keats (Jonathan), Clinton Hutchison, and Catrina Hutchison; cherished grandchildren, Marek, Calder, Litney, and Myla, who were the pride and joy of his life; sisters Val Rondeau (Yvon), Jo Labby (Dave); brother Frank Hutchison (Pam); and many nieces, nephews and other family and friends.

He was predeceased by parents Mary Ellen and Robert Hutchison; sister Lynn Churchill (Dickie); brother Pat Hutchison; and great nephew Reed Churchill.

A passionate golfer, Gay spent countless hours on the course, and when he wasn’t playing, he could be found in his favorite chair, watching a round. He will be remembered for his big heart, sharp wit, and the unique way he made everyone feel special.

Gay’s humor, warmth, and love for his family and friends will leave a lasting legacy. His memory will forever be treasured by all who were fortunate enough to know him.
