It is with mixed sadness and joy that we read of the passing of Art Ziegler. Joy, knowing he is residing now in heaven and he will have new growth and understanding; Art will embrace this. We have sadness knowing the change his passing will bring to Toni and the family, and to them we send our heartfelt condolences.
I am Judy Snyder, nee MacDonald, sister of Neil MacDonald who was father of Marcia. Marcia is mother to Art’s grandchildren, Carissa, Joel, Kayla and Julia.
My husband, Bill and I always appreciated our conversations with Art and Toni at family gatherings. We saw in these special four grandchildren traits observable from both the Ziegler side and the MacDonald side...the embracing of the challenge of hard work and study so they would not waste the abilities God had placed within them. We also acknowledge all that Marcia and Carl taught them of God’s ways which has provided meaning and direction in their lives as it did for both of their grandfathers and grandmothers.
God knows every line on the written pages of our lives; to Him we give thanks for his unique care of Art in his long ago journey from Poland to Stettler. This same care can forward through the generations to his grandchildren.

Uncle Art was always a very caring man showing his love for god and all his family. He always took the time to find out about me, my life and my family. We always looked forward to trips to the Ranch when there was birthday celebrations or just good family times as there was excitement to be had.
Thank You Uncle Art (and Aunt Toni) for all the loving memories
Love Lois, Barry & Family D'Angelo

I so admired your Dad, he really was a beacon of light. He spent some time with me personally to help me through a rough patch. I loved going to the farm swimming and also some bible lessons. He will be missed but he is with his Lord, and all can only hope that the same fate happens to all the lives he touched.

Rob & Gwenda Gravely and Carol Yates family send their most sincere condolences to Toni and all of Art & Toni's families.
You see, not only was this family neighbors to us but we both went to school with their kids. I personally feel blessed as we shared breakfast, prayers and visits with Toni and Art every day for a month as they so kindly took us in to stay when our dad, Gordon Yates, was ill in Calgary hospital. It was the most comforting thing to have done for us and we very much looked forward to our mornings with Toni & Art. This is just one of the many kindnesses these people have done and we are thankful for their friendship, kindness and love♡
We send each of the family love, hugs and prayers as they go through this precarious time. It seems wrong not to gather and share in the loss of a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, neighbor and friend. We hold your families in the highest regard!
Love Gwenda & Rob

To Toni and families.
We were saddened to hear of Art's passing, and know that this is a difficult time for you all! We have many great memories of when our two families gathered around your swimming pool on hot summer nights. Our kids so enjoyed those pool parties and we enjoyed our visits with you and Art. Those were some happy times out on the farms.
We know Art was a good Christian man and that God has welcomed him home!
We are thinking of you and saying a prayer .God Bless!
Shirley and Bob Schulze.

Uncle Art was always a gentleman. He appreciated courtesies and was always the first to shake a hand, offer a greeting, express appreciation for any task and certain to say good-bye. Whenever he greeted me he was sincerely interested in my life and what I was experiencing. He had a way of making a person feel special, even in a crowd.
Uncle Art was a man of the world. He was interested in worldly events having strong convictions and opinions. A conversation with Uncle Art involved many topics and a diversity of view point. He was a keen observer - interested in many things around him.
Uncle Art fiercely loved God and wanted others to know God too. He wanted to make sure that others would see that his life reflected God's character and standard and hoped that it would draw people to God. Those around him always knew that he was a Christian.
I will miss my times with Uncle Art. They were far too few. I know that the last few years were difficult and I am glad that he is now released from pain and confinement. I'm excited to know that we will meet again.
My prayer is with family members as they all grieve in different ways and try to fit life into new patterns. May you draw comfort from God who understands all feelings, motivations and thoughts. May you be drawn together as you rediscover wonderful memories and new challenges. May God recieve glory for all the future brings.
