My deepest sympathy to Mary and family. Greg was such a kind, caring, sincere and gentle man. I always enjoyed coffee and/or brunch after Mass. He was hospitable and made me feel welcome when I joined the Stettler congregation. We will all miss his sweet smile and presence. May God bless you with peace and many happy memories.

To Mary and the family,
Just wanted to tell you about one day when Greg decided that I needed to learn about the game of billiards in the Coronation Pool Hall in 1969. I was 16 and kind of full of myself; so Greg gave me a lesson in humility one that I never
forgot; but really deserved and appreciated (later on in life). He was very gentle and used his amazing sense of humour to let me know who was the teacher and who was the very raw student. I think he also wanted to remind me about the importance of getting an education, which at that point in my life, I was letting slip by the wayside. I will always be thankful for that day when Greg chose to be thoughtful and kind to a brash teenager. That day my life changed. Conn and Diana Quinlan

One of God's angels went home with the passing of Greg. I will always cherish the many hours working with Greg at the food bank, his great sense of humor and his story of his pipe collection! He had a wonderful love for the community which I sometimes envied. He would always keep me up to date on his children's doings even though I didn't know any of them - his love for them was so great.
