So many fond memories of the big guy! From quading, river boat racing and drag racing! First met him as my dispatcher at Kos and worked together for better part of 10 years. A great guy to work for and a dear friend that will be sadly missed! He always spoke very highly of his family! I consider him as my greatest mentors in rig moving and trucking in general, never a question he didn’t know the answer to! Huge and very sad loss to many I am sure!!! Rest In Peace big guy, always in my thoughts!!!

Kalvin Joesting.
I first meet Doc in Edson. Swamped for him for a while. Worked with him for years..even lived with him for a short while. Always a good guy willing to help you out however he could. Even if it was sarcasm with a big belly laugh. I remember coming home from Whitecourt one night in a pickup. I was sleeping in the passenger seat. All I remember was him yelling " Moose " as he hit the binders I sat up and took his catcher mitt of a hand to the chest. He laughed and said "that will teach you for snoring putz". Had lots of fun over the years. He will be missed. My condolences to his family

So sorry to hear of the passing of David. He was one of my first and favorite students. Hard working and always good for a smile. He was an honest, dedicated hockey player who was there for his teammates. He will be missed. Len Currie

Deepest condolences to Doc's many friends and loved ones. Dave always had a smile on his face, a good belly laugh only seconds away and so many great jokes and quips to share. He brought smiles and laughter into our world.
Miss you, buddy. Rest in peace.

It is with our deepest sympathy and profound sadness that we send our condolences to Dave’s family. There were many memories but one that stands out is how Doc enjoyed coming to our house for a plain old home cooked meal after work when we lived in Edson. He always accepted the invitation enthusiastically but there was one condition... He needed time to run home and get out of his jeans and into his “BANQUET PANTS”. According to Doc supper at Lyns table required nice loose jogging pant which I never heard anyone else call banquet pants. It was a great compliment to the cook and was so typical of how Doc made his friends feel important to him. His big ❤️ Is what we will miss most about him ...
