To Jeanne, and all the BRUNTJEN clan.
I first met Roger in Dental School at the University of Alberta in Edmonton in 1965. My first impression of this tall, lanky guy with his unique laugh and smile, friendly manner, and keen sense of humour was this is someone I would like to friends with! And we were, for 55 years. Having grown up in small town Saskatchewan, we had a lot in common, and we both loved sports and outdoor adventures. Jeanne and Roger, and my wife Wendy and myself spent many wonderful times together. We always shared stories of our children growing up, and more recently grandchildren. It was obvious family was very important in the BRUNTJEN’s life, and they had great pride and love for their extended family. The memories will forever be a part of us. You will be missed Roger, but not forgotten, for you have left your mark on our life’s too! Rest in peace my friend.
