Tanille and your families: I (we) are sorry to not be with you today. Letty always lifted my spirits and, as I said to Tanille I admired her vim and vigour. Our Christmas sales together over the years were always so much fun and enjoyed by all. I will treasure her works of art that I have in my collection even more. Grace and Strength to you all. Trish Denholm.

Sorry I cannot be with you all in person but I am with you very much in spirit. I feel Letty close so
Know she is hanging around checking on proceedings!
Letty and I were rule breakers and had fun together doing that. A best friend that you could share your heart with and know you were safe! We will meet again and have a few wines and share our stories of that I am certain. Heres a toast to you dear friend Letty you will always be near. Love Sylvia

Letty always made us smile and giggle. A great community minded lady. She was a great school chum and enjoyed celebrating our 60th school reunion this past summer.
The entire McTaggart family sends sincere sympathy to all of you. We will miss her smiles and laughter. We were truly blessed to have her in our lives.

Letty's Family, sincerest sympathy to your families. Letty always lit up the room with her smiles and laughter. Always available to lend a helping hand and donate her beautiful talented quilt or something handcrafted special. Such wonderful memories she has left to share with her loved ones. I will also miss her and her stories. Another huge loss to our CLASS OF 64. Such fond movies were shared.

Letty has been a beautiful, classy Lady who has been a role model in so many ways. She volunteered countless hours at Stettler United Church both in and out of the kitchen. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.

The word I associate with Mrs Docherty is fun. When she came in the room you just knew you were about to have a good time. When she came to watch our dance rehearsals with her knitting (which she would start, catch an error, rip it apart and start over with as much gusto as she did the first time, a lesson in resilience I have kept with me all these years), us girls would be jealous listening to our moms guffawing and carrying on with Letty in the centre of it all. A wonderful, warm and talented lady has left us, and my heart hurts for her family, friends and people she touched along the way.

I have taken some extra time to think of the most important things ro say about LETTY. Glorene and I worked with Letty for approximately 15 yrs being just the rhree of us at our north town office for a full 10 years. Lefty had all the talents in the world including thankfully legal assistant work. She had an amazing compasity to get everything thing done in a seemingly easy manner. She was never in a bad mood and always provided us with a laugh at some time during the day. She seemed to know everybody in town and kept us up on things we should know. She did so much for so many people much of which will not be known.
Letty was a very special person and will be missed by so many.
She took great care of her family. Tennille never learned to ride a bike so needed help from her mother quite often to get places which was all in a days work for Letty
Letty nor only worked with us but was a good friend and we will miss her and her bright smile.
She was a Ritchie girl.

Hooray, Hooray it’s the first of May, outdoor …., (I’ll let you fill in the rest) Letty always had a ditty, joke or a funny story and was so quick to share. Being with her was a treat and there was always laughter and maybe a beverage or two. Her heart was as big as her laughter and she was always willing to share her sewing expertise with anyone who needed help. I will always cherish those late night caps at Lazy M or any other times we got together. Letty truly was an inspiration to many.
